Lead C# .NET Developer-(C#, .NET, Developer, GUI, SQL, Spring)–New York-Circa $100,000 per annum + bonus and benefits
A Global investment bank with a significant global reach and reputation is seeking a highly skilled lead C# .NET Developer to join their Management/Risk Reporting group. This team is a cross-asset global business that trades all major asset classes (Structured Credit Cash & Derivatives: CDS/CDX/INDTR/Bespokes, ABS/ABX/LCDX/LCDS/CMBX/CMBS/TRX, Rates, Futures, Equities, Commodities, FX) with a high touch technology team co-located on the trading floor.
The lead C# .NET Developer will work closely with management, traders, business development staff and IT developers to design, build and support the pricing, analytics and position management required to support existing products sets and roll out new products. The lead C# .NET Developer will be part of an established global development team delivering into a number of different countries.
Required skills:
-Exceptional C#.NET Development Skills.
-Experience in financial services and trading businesses with extensive knowledge of trade life cycle, position, P&L and Risk reporting processes across multiple asset classes.
-Development experience using large relational databases and SQL is a must.
-Strong understanding of overall .NET Development.
-Experience with distributed systems and multi-tier architectures.
-Demonstrated experience in all phases of development of an enterprise solution: Project Management, Business Analysis, Application architecture, development & integration, & database management
Responsibilities:
-Design, develop, test and document scalable, highly reliable, enterprise global systems in a structured, disciplined, and fast-moving environment.
-Be comfortable hands-on implementing new systems using C++, C#/ .NET, and SQL Server, etc. and leading a small offshore team.
-Develop within a controlled process including design and code reviews.
-Form strong client relationships with traders, business management, COOs, and other technology groups in a front office environment.

-Ability to act as a conduit between the business and developers, reasoning the practice behind the change in working practice.

This position provides a great opportunity to learn finance and requires a strong desire to work in a collaborative, fast paced, high pressure environment on a large existing codebase which is still growing.
