Trader–Coal Derivatives Trader, Geneva, Switzerland, Salary: 200-250k CHF
We are currently working with a large and established commodity specialised hedge fund who are looking to add to their energy desk in Switzerland.
They require a senior trader, with a strong derivative trading background in the coal and freight space who can join their highly talented team and manage a lucrative trading book focussing on European and Asian coal markets.
Responsibilities :
-Trading a portfolio of coal and freight derivatives to maximize trading revenue,
-Analysis of global coal markets to implement trading strategies and capitalize on market volatility,
-Maintaining and developing counterparty relationships in the commodity space,
-Provide support to business development teams.
Skills/Attributes required :
-Vice-President to Director level coal and freight trader,
-A solid trading track record in the energy derivative space,
-Ideally have a background with a large commodity trade house,
-Be highly-driven and entrepreneurial in nature,
-Be willing to be based in either Geneva or potentially Singapore.
This rare opportunity is ideal for an experienced and senior trader working at a large commodity trade house and who is looking to move to a lucrative, and highly successful trading environment at a fund in Geneva, one of the main commodity hubs.
