Java Developer (Java, C#, Equities, Risk, Real-Time)-London-Circa £90,000 + significant bonus package
Tier one investment bank known for their substantial influence in the equity area are seeking a highly ambitious Java Developer to work within their rapidly growing and world renowned front office Equity teams.
The significant growth of the area has lead to huge investment in the team, where the Java developer will have constant interacting with other front office personnel.
The position will require someone to work within a high pressured, fast paced environment that wants to engage with all aspects of the business.
A highly skilled technologist who can demonstrate their leadership ability and take the team forward is of vital importance.
The successful Java Developer:
-Expertise in Java,
-C# front end experience desirable,
-Risk,
-Real-Time,
-Equity.
Responsibilities for successful Java Developer:
-Work closely with risk management systems.
-Provide advice and analysis to other front office employees.
-Work along side traders and business analysts understanding their requirements.
-Work within a real-time environment.
The person: Java Developer
-Exception communication and analytical skills, both verbal and written.
-Excellent team and organisational skills.
-Ability to cope within a fast paced front-office environment.
Primarily, an exceptional Java developer with experience working within risk is of most importance to the client.
The ability to work closely with the Traders and Business analysts and to be able to suggest and implement your own ideas is also of high importance.
The role is one like no other, and provides the developer with significant exposure within a front office environment whilst requiring the Java developer to remain very hands on.
