Director of High Frequency Algorithmic Trading (High Frequency, Algorithmic Trading System, eFX, Director, Execution)-London-Circa £150,000 + significant bonus package
One of the worlds largest investment bank known for their pioneering approach and global remit are seeking a highly a highly experienced Algorithmic Trading specialist to work within their rapidly growing and renowned eFX Algorithmic trading team.
The significant growth of the area has lead to huge investment in the team, where the Director of High Frequency Algorithmic Trading will be contributing to the development of the eFX platform through execution strategies and market making.
The position will require someone to work within a high pressured, fast paced environment that wants to engage with all aspects of the business and provides the Algorithmic Trading specialist to work on a very exciting Greenfield project.
A highly skilled technologist who can demonstrate their leadership ability and take the team forward is of vital importance.
The Director of High Frequency Algorithmic Trading will have skills in:
-Significant experience in High Frequency Algorithmic Trading,
-Knowledge of FX markets (preferable),
-Execution strategies.
Responsibilities for Director of Algorithmic High Frequency Algorithmic Trading
-Create and modify execution framework,
-Implement business functionality to assist algorithm such as data mining of previous day's trades,
-Measure performance and optimization of algorithms whilst contributing to future strategies and ideas of the team,
-Provide architecture and design for next generation of trading system,
-Design of trading analytics and qquantitative modelling of trade execution,
-Algorithmic trading pre/post trade analysis.
The person Director of High Frequency Algorithmic Trading:
-Exception communication and analytical skills, both verbal and written.
-Excellent team and organisational skills.
-Ability to cope within a fast paced front-office environment.
Primarily, an exceptional Quant with significant experience working within a High Frequency Algorithmic Trading team is of most importance to the client.
The ability to work closely with the rest of the quant team and to be able to suggest and implement your own ideas is also of high importance.
This position provides great scope to develop further alongside the rapidly growing team itself.
